January 23rd Target shopping trip!
Here is one of my 1st coupon shopping trips on January 23rd 2013.
With Target you can stack coupons. You may use 1 manufacturer coupon & 1 Target coupon (found on their website) on each item purchased. Now something very important to remember about Target is that you can only use 1 Target coupon for each item a visit. You cannot use more than one during a visit, even if you are purchasing 2 of the item. Also, always make sure you check the end-caps at your local Target. This is where most of them put their clearance items. For a smaller store, you may have to search individually throughout the aisles for the markdowns.
I paid a total of $13.00 on $37.86 worth of product. Below is the breakdown of how I did it.
Cars 2 toy was on clearance for $3.58, bottle brush was in the dollar section $1.00
Chuggington movie $5 used $3 coupon, paid $2
Finish Dishwashing Tablets on clearance end-cap for $2.66, used coupon for $2.15, paid $.51c
Clorox2 on sale for $8, used $2 coupon that was on the bottle, $1.50 coupon & received $1.50 back from Iobotta*, total price $3.00
Gillette Fusion Razor $6.99 & Disposable Mach 3 Razor $7.49, used $10 off Fusion when you buy a disposable razor & used $3 coupon on any Gillette disposable razor, total paid $1.48 for both.
Target printing paper $3.14, used .50c off coupon found on their website, paid $2.64
*I will be going over Iobotta on a future post. This is a very easy way to earn some extra cash back on top of the coupons you use.

A frugal moms voyage in to the world of couponing.
Hi everyone,
I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself. I'm a single mom of 2 boys who has recently taken the plunge into couponing. I am saving tons of money & want to be able to share my strategies & tips with you, so that you can save too.
Just today alone I have saved over $30 on products in 2 shopping trips. I will be keeping it very real with my blogs & will only post actually free or money savers. I will also list where you can make rewards with certain stores, but to me that is not free if there is an out of pocket expense. Therefore, I will post about some of them but not dedicate my blog to them.
I will be going a bit backwards on my 1st few blogs on some of my past trips. These have all been over the last month or so. I will be posting pictures & what I did to get the deals that I did on that trip. I will also be posting freebies that I have received & will be adding them when I find them for you to grab as well.
Couponing can be very time consuming but also so worth it to keep the money in your pocket. The money you save could easily be used on other items for your house, on your kids, vacations, bills etc. Why not keep that money in your pocket instead of in the retailer's pockets?
Please also remember that you can help give back to your community doing this as well. If there is a product that you can get for free or almost free, and it's something that your household doesn't use, you can donate it to a local shelter, woman's club or just give it to someone that you know could use it.
I hope you enjoy the page as much as I will in keeping you informed on how to save some money!
Thanks for stopping by!
